The main benefit of VIBE is helping customers maximise
the use of their equipment. The most important features
are the forums where users can discuss particular topics
with their peers to share their knowledge and experience
of using the equipment. The forums allow users to discuss
and decide what the most important ideas and issues are
that need to be addressed, giving Carestream a better
idea how to develop our products so we can meet our
In addition, the group enables us to deliver the information
our users need to learn about the technologies they are
using. The group provides users with information and
elearning materials available at their fingertips, including
webinars, demo videos, and downloadable guides.
How can a user get the most from the group?
If the users are actively participating in the group they can
gain significant skills, get inspiration to do things differently
and more efficiently, exchange ideas with and learn from
peers. It is a community and a social network where users
can network and meet colleagues both online and at local
and WW organised user events.
The best source of content in a user group tends to be the
users themselves. Coming across an article or research, and
then sharing it with the group is one of the best resources
available. The best user groups are those that are the most
educated and are participated in frequently, so by actively
sharing content, users are contributing to improving the
education of the group as a whole.
What are the future developments planned for VIBE?
Regarding the future of VIBE, we are currently working on
implementing a new platform for the community and expect to launch in Q2 2015. With this new platform we can
take the user group to the next level by implementing a very
user friendly application with many new features such as improved community and forum experience, content management, educational content, and interaction between customers and with the company. There will be new features such
as a much simpler way for product feedback and digital
asset management and a new portal for our products with
single sign on, so customers can arrange service, engage in
community forums, elearning, etc, all in one place.
